My Journey
It all started with a course change.
In 2019, I walked into my course counsellor’s office and withdrew from all my STEM courses, turning my back on a lifelong dream of pursuing a career in science.
My reason? I felt like there was more to education than just mindless drills and meaningless grades.
Then, I plunged headfirst into what everyone warned me not to study: the humanities, because I wanted answers. And what I found there completely changed my life:
It was the freedom to think
It was nourishment for the mind
It was learning how to wield the pen
Above all, it was about acquiring the indispensable skill that makes us truly human: reading.
Making Literacy Accessible to Everyone
The magic of reading allowed me to explore the world from the comfort of a library, and it brightened all corners of my mind. I followed the thread, and five years later, I graduated with my English degree with Honours and decided to share this magic with the world.
Most people I talk to want to make reading a part of their lives, but struggle to stay consistent or focused while feeling shut out from a literary education. And this is where my mission comes in:
I will turn the art of reading from an inaccessible oddity to a valuable skill everyone can practice and master.
So here’s my promise: I will use everything I’ve learned from my education to distil the most effective reading practices and turn them into a highly actionable roadmap for you.
Let’s get started.
